Using Your Creativity for God

Friday, June 5, 2026 • 12:30 PM - 1:30 PM

📍 KidzUnlimited Room

If you've ever been told that being creative is "nice" but not particularly useful — that art and design and writing and storytelling are fine for fun but not really how God works — this session is going to flip that script. Creativity isn't a side hobby in God's kingdom. It's woven into the very first chapter of Scripture, where the God who creates makes humans in His own image and hands us the ability to make things too. Every Sunday at NewSpring, you experience the work of people using that exact gift — the words you read, the visuals you see, the stages you sit in front of, the videos that move you. Almost none of it just happens. In this session, you'll hear from a panel of NewSpring's creatives — wordsmiths, graphic artists, set designers, and more — about how they use their skills to honor the Lord in their daily work. They'll share what their roles actually look like, how they got there, and how you can start using the creative gifts God has given you to point others to Him — whether that becomes your career or simply shapes the way you live and serve.
